The featured image me and my eldest sister
White is the color of my skin, with a good face, a gift from God, to protect myself. Look at my pictures below and tell me what you see. If you see me for the first time, how you will judge me? Looks can be deceiving. Most of the people said I am rich.
In the old saying “Don’t judge the book by its cover”. I love reading educational books, reading about the life of successful people, reading about business and finance, it’s my passion. From reading books it taught me many things that put me into a better life.
I was born 08 October 1985 in the heart of San Fernando City La Union, Philippines. My friends and workmates called me Snow Man.
My parents have five blessed children, and I am second to the eldest of our siblings, next to my eldest sister, and I have two younger sisters and one brother.
I still remember when I was a kid, at my young age six; together with my eldest sister one night, we were selling one of the common delicious Philippine delicacy called “balut” (boiled duck egg) in the street of our barangay. A balut is a fertilized bird egg (usually a duck) that are incubated for 14 to 21 days, boiled or steamed. Each egg sold we have one peso profit.
Balut originates and is commonly sold as street food in the Philippines. Often served with beer, baluts are popular in countries in Southeast Asia, such as Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, and Vietnam. Our family source of income was a mini-grocery in the year 1990 ~ 1993. My father once a land broker, when he got commissions from selling lands, he established a mini grocery business.
We have two used cars a Mitsubishi Lancer, and Ford Van. While my mother is a full-time housewife, and she managed our mini grocery store.
While I’m at kindergarten at age six, I was the favorite of our school teacher, and once an excellent student in our class, enjoying going to school. As a kid, it’s normal to be naughty, and yes I was. I can still remember that if I’m misbehaving, my mother hit my butt with a bamboo stick, and it is really painful.
When I turned seven, as grade one student, after the class, I’m always going directly to the computer video shop, to play Atari “Street Fighter 1992”.
My mother was always worried because sometimes I come home late. Sometimes she fetches me at the computer shop, and she brings a bamboo stick to strike me.
When I turned eight, in the year 1993, our mini grocery store has been bankrupt and we found out that our mother is suffering ovarian cancer, and then we had left the Town of Bauang, La Union, and moved to the new rented house in Barangay Dilan, Urdaneta City, Pangasinan. About 80 Kilometers away from Bauang, La Union.
